BOSTON & SAN DIEGO & TAMPA, Fla. & WASHINGTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Anzu Partners, an investment firm that focuses on industrial and life science technology companies with the potential to transform their industries, today announced that international investment banker, William H. Strong has joined as a partner to spearhead strategic transactions as Anzu and its portfolio continue to expand. Mr. Strong will also join the Anzu Investment Committee.
Mr. Strong is a global professional investor and corporate finance advisor with over 40 years of investment, capital markets and transactional experience. He spent over twenty years at Morgan Stanley, where he most recently served as a member of Morgan Stanley’s Global Management Committee and Co-CEO for its Asia Pacific Region and, previously, as Vice Chairman of Investment Banking.
During his career thus far, he has advised clients in more than 25 countries involved in capital-raising transactions across all product classes as well as mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. While based in Hong Kong, Mr. Strong maintained key relationships with many of Morgan Stanley’s largest clients in the region including sovereign governments, corporations, institutional and ultra-high-net-worth investors as well as regulators and the press.

Mr. Strong has also been active in public service, having served on the boards of many organizations including the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York; Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana; The Chicago Community Trust and the Financial Services Development Council in Hong Kong. Mr. Strong currently serves as a member of the Boards of Directors of the Alliance for Market Solutions and the Navy SEAL Foundation. He is also a former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and currently serves as a Life Trustee.
Mr. Strong is a Certified Public Accountant, a graduate of Purdue University in industrial management, and earned an MBA degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
